: The research was approved by the ethics committee of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (27023012020) and the School of Public Health, Shandong University (20181109). Informed consent in the local language was obtained before the interview. To ensure the privacy of the non-adult girl, the respondents had been chosen in such a way where the legal guardians were cooperative with the respondents to answer the question in front of them. Respondents had the rights to refuse and withdraw from the study. They had the rights to deny answering some sensitive questions in the interview. Sensitivity and caring towards the respondents were maintained throughout the interview process as some questions may bring memories of their distress.
