Declarations
:
: Ethical approval was granted from the ethics committee of the University of Würzburg (opinion dated 7th of June 2021, file number146/21;). Data protection laws were checked in detail for Bolivia, Colombia and Brazil. Baseline data was completely anonymous and allowed no tracing of identities. All FGD participants were adults signing informed consent. Participants used self-chosen pseudonyms during FGDs. The project took place in large urban communities, without any risk of identification for individual PWDs. Sociodemographic data from FGD participants was only collected in categories to allow contextualization of results and will not be published to assure anonymity within participating communities. Zoom sessions were conducted at the platform hosted at the University of Würzburg which entails higher data protection standards (e.g. no storage within clouds).
