: The study team sought and obtained ethical approval from National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC) through the Department of Health Planning, Research & Statistics, Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH); At subnational level, adminstrative approval was obtained from the States Ministry of Health (SMoH) in Rivers, Niger and Bauchi; and from each of the health institutions involved in the study.
