Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical clearance for this study was granted by the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC/16/QGC/39) and The University of Queensland Medical Research Ethics Committee (2016000510). Upon intake, all Floresco clients sign a form consenting to their de-identified data being used for research purposes. Additionally, the follow-up study participants signed a statement giving their informed consent to participate in the evaluation, including consent for extracts of de-identified data to be obtained from their records with the local public mental health service. All Governance Committee members agreed to researchers observing their meetings and taking notes for the evaluation. All interview participants gave their informed consent to participate in the evaluation, including consent to their interviews being recorded and professionally transcribed.
