: All the procedures conducted in this study were in accordance with the principles outlined in the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments. The data of the present study were obtained from the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care IV (MIMIC IV) database.<sup>28</sup> It contains de-identified data of actual hospital stays of patients admitted to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) between 2008 and 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts. The establishment of the database was approved by the institutional review boards of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the BIDMC. Consent was acquired for the original data collection. The Institutional Review Board at the BIDMC granted a waiver of informed consent and approved the sharing of the research resource. Data were collected by AK after completing the required human research training and signing a data use agreement.
