Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All procedures were in accordance with the ethical standards of the local research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. In accordance to the local ethical committee, further formal approval of this kind of study was not needed. All donors were adults and gave written informed consent for research purposes. The biological material/teeth were used under irreversibly anonymized conditions and in accordance with the Swiss Human Research Law (810.30 Federal Act on Research involving Human Beings, Human Research Act (HRA).
