Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. The immunohistochemical profiling of breast cancer samples was performed as part of routine clinical care and not as a research test.Written informed consent to participate in the study was obtained from all participants. The local ethics committee ruled that no formal ethics approval was required in this study because the patient-reported outcome data are not reported. In addition, this manuscript did not need formal ethics approval because is a retrospective study. This complies with our national regulations (D.L. 211, 24 giugno 2003).
