: In addition to obtaining ethical approval from the Joint Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery and the Faculty of Rehabilitation, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, with the ethics code IR.TUMS.FNM.REC.1397.168, the study adhered to the principles of research ethics and ensured the protection of participants’ rights and well-being. Informed consent was obtained from all participants, and they were fully informed about the purpose of the study, the procedures involved, and their rights as research participants. The confidentiality of participants’ information was maintained, and all data collected were securely stored and accessible only to the research team. Participants’ autonomy was respected throughout the study, and they were given the freedom to participate or withdraw from the study at any time without facing any consequences or negative impacts on their care. Moreover, the participants’ privacy and dignity were safeguarded throughout the research process, and no identifying information was used in the analysis or reporting of the data. To ensure that vulnerable participants, such as those with illiteracy or visual impairments, were not excluded from the study, appropriate accommodations were provided. The researcher assisted these individuals in completing the questionnaires through a question-and-answer format, ensuring their inclusion and participation in the study. The study also adhered to the principles of beneficence and non-maleficence, aiming to maximize the benefits of the intervention while minimizing any potential harm or discomfort to participants. Any adverse events or discomfort experienced by participants during the study were promptly addressed, and necessary support was provided. Overall, the study followed ethical guidelines and considerations to protect the rights, welfare, and dignity of the research participants and ensure the scientific integrity of the study findings.
