Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Patients provided oral informed consent to the fact that a set of clinical data collected throughout the stay, anonymized, might be used for research purposes. In case of cognitive impairment, a proxy was asked for consent to use these data. The use of routinely collected, anonymized, patients’ information for this work has been approved by the Cantonal Human Research Ethical Committee (protocol number 446/12, date: 24/10/2012).
