: The IPCI Database is a pseudonymised, opt-out database. The database is stored confidentially on a local server of Erasmus Medical Centre. Patients are informed by their GP about the participation of the practice, and that their information can be removed from the database on their request.This study was approved on 7 November 2017 by the “Raad van Toezicht van IPCI” (IPCI Review Board project number: 9/2017). The study was exempt from informed consent as it involved analysis of pseudonymised medical records without direct contact with patients.
