Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Danish legislation has waived the need for formal ethics approval for studies that do not include biomedical tissue or sensitive data (Komitéloven § 2 nr. 1). Furthermore, projects that solely involve non-sensitive data about participants do not have to be notified to the Danish Data Protection Agency. Verbal informed consent was given before the four recruited GPs freely and informed chose to participate in the project.
