: The study was approved by the Ethical Review Board at Hawler Medical University, Erbil, Iraq, (Ethics issue number 20/21–11-2017) and performed in collaboration with surgeons at Emergency Management Centre.This was a retrospective study involving the analysis of secondary data, and therefore does not constitute human subjects research. As such, The Ethical Review Board at Hawler Medical University waived the need for informed consent from patients included in the study. Nevertheless, this research was carried out in accordance with local, national, and international guidelines and regulations, including those enumerated in the Declaration of Helsinki.The study protocol was registered at Clinicaltrails.gov, ID NCT03490305, prior to collection of data.
