: <i>Brassica carinata</i> cultivar Avanza 641 was used in this study. Avanza 641 is not a transgenic variety. Seeds were obtained from Dr. Ramdeo Seepaul at the University of Florida. The original seed source was Agrisoma Biosiences Inc., Quebec, Canada; no permissions were necessary to collect seed samples. All plant experiments were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
