: This study has not directly involved humans, animals. The seeds of B. rapa cv. ‘Yangzhouqing’ and B. oleracea cv. ‘Yonglv 7’ were obtained from the Jiangsu Lixiahe Region Agricultural Research Institute, China. No specific permission was required for use of these cultivars for experimental purpose. The seedlings were grown in the experimental field of Yangzhou University, Yangzhou, China as per standard practices and samples were harvested at required time. We comply with the Convention on the Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
