: The plant materials used in this study have been collected from their natural habitat located at Shyamnagar (22.83° N, 88.40° E) and Bandel (22.93° N, 88.38° E), West Bengal, India during April, 2013 to July, 2017. As per the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) guidelines,Bambusadoes not fall under the category of endangered species. The studied plantBambusa tuldais a tropical bamboo wildly grown and profusely available in West Bengal.
